Avery is certainly weak-minded enough that fledgling Jedi Luke, by the start of The Empire Strikes Back, could turn him with little effort. But a new question arises: Why would Vader want Avery for a minion? He'd probably make an even worse soldier than the average Storm Trooper.

I realized last night that Vader would have to take very short munch breaks in order not to suffocate. Does he feed intravenously, or are the machines enough to keep him alive?

I'm thinkign the machines keep his few bilogical parts funcitng witouht the need for food. He probably needs to recharge power at times. MY guess is that he does that while he's sleeping.

Avery coudl be sued to try torture tencheages, and Mr. Vader could get Avery to be thankfull for it. If anythgin Mr. Vader coudl use Avery as he wishes for his own amuzment.

What about that guy he force-choked in the first movie? The guy who dissed the Force? You could tell he was having fun squeezing the life outa that guy.
