A voice for Millie?
I wasn't trying to imply that DCS invented that. I'm just saying that he uses it so efficiently in conjunction with well-defined characters that I don't need a mental voice. I guess I was comparing it mainly to other webcomics, most of which (at least those I've seen) don't use that often.

How could I have forgotten Watterson's method of using scribble-text for Moe though? Since Calvin & Hobbes was the only newspaper comic I ever liked, I can't fathom how I forgot that.

I have a good breathy falsetta voice that would work well. My voice range is quite good, but I can't do it when I have a cold. I'll try to get a recording for him later. My recording of me singing in lower tenor earlier got seriously messed up in the filters, as my recent horseness (sudden temprature changes) prevented all the nice overtones in my voice from making it through all of the noise filters I had to throw on to prevent issues with the noise from the furnace. To be honest, I hadn't really thought about what Millie might sound like. But hey, if DCS thinks that voice is good for Millie, then who am I to doubt him?
