What they forget to tell you is that it's only one issue, delevered right in the middle of Autumn. Dern ripoff if'n ya ask me.Oh, I'm sorryI saw one day that I'd turned become pretty hairy so I joined to fit inBeing hairy doesn't qualify you for the furry fandom. Heres a consolation prize though: a year's subscription to Leaves me in stitches: the sewing magazine

Heh, heh..."yiffing"anthro is an animal with human-like features, usually including standing on two legs. furry is anything with fur, though it can also include less-hairy animals. yiffing is the sound that foxes make when mating...and is used to describe furry art and other media involving similar acts. Anamilistic (or, animalistic) is not a word as far as I know o.oWhat's the difference between anthro and furry and yiffy and anamilistic?
*bursts out laughing*

I've actually heard it IRL. Though I didn't know what it was at the time, lol (so I think it was that).
It's also called a "vixen's scream" because it literally sounds like an eerie howl of a women from a distance. It's weird to hear - when I first heard it I thought someone was in trouble, but I'm pretty sure I was the only one around at the time. I felt kind of bad, until two months later I listened to the sound and made a match.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. You heard "yiff" IRL?I've actually heard it IRL. Though I didn't know what it was at the time, lol (so I think it was that).

Edit: Never mind, I got it. So you heard a vixen's mating call, huh?
The above states the obvious.

Ah, that's I think what I meant by "animalistic" - feral. There is feral as opposed to anthro as well, meaning not part human.
Thanks for the explanations, even if the yiff one was nowhere near what I had thought it was. >.>
*thought "yiffing" meant people 'talking' in animalish voices or something*

I thought "yiff" was the sound of the male mating call...I've actually heard it IRL. Though I didn't know what it was at the time, lol (so I think it was that).

http://www.angelfire.com/ar2/thefoxden/sounds.html for those of you who haven't heard the actual sound. It is... Actually about the closest phoneticisation of an animal sound I've ever encountered.

Could be. I'm not sure, all I know is I remember reading somewhere where it referred to yiff as a vixen's scream. It seemed to fit.I thought "yiff" was the sound of the male mating call...I've actually heard it IRL. Though I didn't know what it was at the time, lol (so I think it was that).

This is what I was talking about (it sounded very close to this, from what I remember):

Um, I didn't say anything about anyone being a furry, in fact I clearly avoided that in my post by writing "furry comics" and "if you're involved/interested in it" because I knew that, like me, some people weren't very involved in the furry fandom in general.
But since we're on this forum about an anthropomorphic comic I assumed that a clear majority also read at least one other furry comic (this still doesn't imply they are furry, they might just happen to like the comic). What I asked was how did people find those particular comics (furry comics) and, if applicable, furry fandom.
