I remember hearing that on-shore wind energy is the most efficient energy avaiblle, with the best ratio of energy lost to energy produced, even when compared to conventional forms like oil. But I might be remembering wrong or misinterpreted what was said.

I hope Millie doesn't do anything to the potato, Llewellynland might be left powerless.

"Po-ta-toes! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew..."

Anyway, this is, I believe, the first mention of Llewellyn's basement, no? The game I'm designing involves a trip through it -- which I could easily enough work the potato into -- but I'm not sure if there's anything else mentioned about it that I'm forgetting.

This signature may spontaneously combust at any given moment. Make sure there's a fresh can of gasoline handy.

Everybody complains about windmills, but don't offer decent alternatives for power generation. And because they're unreliable (wind doesn't always blow).

Regarding the potato, I remembered a speculation from my teen friends nearly 10 years ago. One noted the use of potato clocks and suggested a giant potato for a time machine. Another said that that use would run the risk of an explosion -- specifically a 4D explosion, the logical result of which is that the shrapnel appears at different points in time.

I should get in touch with those friends again. They'd love to know about O&M.
