This is funny. Not in any specific way. Just funny overall.

Ozy is looking happier as the comic goes on though.

Me likey
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

Iambs are not bad
But Haiku-slams have prestige.
The victor is clear.

Also, Ozy's pointing pose there?

Very Ozy.

I tried to post this before, but someone started repairs.

A purist would not count some of those lines, because a reader in Shakespeare's time would disregard lesser accents like on the last syllable of "cranium." Millie's last one is especially bad. "Gone off"? Do people even say that of cheese? The stuff doesn't explode, that I know of....

Fortunately, I am not a purist. I'm more disappointed that nobody's continuing the fun that Ozy and Millie started. It's not as hard as it sounds. I'll even take it a step further and add rhyme:

A dumpster on a toasty summer's day
Smells sweet compared to you, I have to say.
If doctors scanned your poor synaptic cleft,
They'd find it almost totally bereft.
I faxed a pic of you to Freddy Kruegger;
He soon became a major power puker.
I'd keep these insults up, but I suspect
You're much too dense for them to take effect.

It's not like I have better things to do,
But it's just not something I try to force.
Unless pentameter comes right to me,
I'd have to rack my brain to get a source.
Clearly that's not what I'm here to find,
So all insults from me will have to cease.
I could be inspired by someone else
But that's akin to purchasing a lease.
A slam may seem to naturally progress
But quality's a descendant of time.
Although I truly wish do to it right
I cannot do so under such duress.
Oh well, I guess a poor one is no crime
Since you sleep with the lights on every night.

Edit: Yeah, I rhyme schemed wrong.

So, we've gone from Haiku-slamming to Iambic Pentameter-slamming?

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.
