well, I'm not named for him, but Phil Collins and I almost have the same name. Philip David Joseph. My last name isn't Collins, though. (And no, I ain't saying what it is here.)

If a kid is going to get picked on, the kid is going to get picked on. There will always be something that bullies can pickup on for someone they dislike.

And besides, Hermione is a far, far, far better name than Hollywood or San Fransisco or Fleetwood or whatever town is currently popular for people to name their kids after. Abstract concepts are another bad sort of thing, but that's more because Hope and Joy seem to be tempting fate a bit rather than because they're bad names, as such.

Either one, I use both. Lockhart is my "real" last name, as far as anyone's concerned.

Well, there is a rumor that Pat Sajak (the host of Wheel of Fortune, which is a game show) is my grandfather's sibling's son. Though I'm not sure if I believe it.

Sort of on topic, right?

I think it's Singapore that's been having a craze in peculiar names like Honey Boy. I suppose if everyone's doing it, the boy won't be bullied anything terrible for it.

My first name is common and my last name, while rare, doesn't readily lend itself to an insult. My first-grade classmates still tried to work both into insults, but the results were so neutral I hardly cared.

Maybe Ozy as a red fox and Millie as an Arctic Fox? (color swap!)

Or maybe both of them after the results of the Hair Curse. Ozy could dress like he did the third time it struck, and Millie can keep her overalls on.
