<a href='http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4517962.stm' target='_blank'>http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4517962.stm</a><br><br>If you've seen the satellite photos it's pretty amazing. Apparently they heard it on Den Haag in Holland. No certain cause yet, it would seem, but I doubt terrorism.
The end is nigh!

Sorry to be technical about this, but this was actually a fuel depot ( a storage facility ), rather than a refinery . . . and that actually makes matters worse, due to the large amounts of refined hydrocarbons in storage.<br><br>I'm remembering a line from one of my disaster response studies: "It's not whether a hydrocarbon facility will explode, but when."<br><br>Good to hear there are no fatalities as of yet, let's hope and pray it stays that way.
