West Side Story is based off of Romeo and Juliet, yes? Only the guy dies in WSS.

And I am knowledgebel in retrospect as well. There was a shift in cinima in the 1980's. Compare the new Planet of the Apes to the old one. Sure it's at oposite ends but it's true. Perhaps if you refered ot the movie(s) you wan to use as a coutner example. West side story also pre-dates the modern movie era, beign writen in 1958. Certantly adaption of clasic lititure can;t change a whole lot of the plot and still be considerd adaptations. That hasn;t started yet. In oriongal plots the trend agaisnt the main characters ding off is well demonstrated I think. There may be exceptions but it is a prety constant theam in modern American moveis.

This is one of the better comics for some time in my opinion.

Llewellyn's attempt to write the great american novel would've been more successful if he used that as a theme.

There are some right tits on this world; sadly, the majority are not accompanied by left ones.
Success is nothing to do with hard work, it's all about luck. Just ask any failiure.
