Tavis asked me to inform y'all that he's evacuating tonight due to the hurricane, and will be out of contact for awhile. Everyone wish him safety and good luck.

Update from Tavis: He and his family are mostly safe and sound in San Antonio, though his dad is still in Houston waiting for the interstate to clear up. They're doing ok, and he appreciates the well-wishings :-)

Best wishes to Tavvy, Arloest, and anyone else in the Houston area or nearby Texans, not to mention those poor Katrinans....

Ibun: You have Tavis' Number? Well, glad to hear Tavis is at the edges (if not completely outside) the three-day cone, further in land. Here's hoping he and his family survive with minimal losses. And thanks for the update, Felix.

Not much to update right now, Felix pretty much covered it. Just got off the phone with him. He sounded a bit out of it; but doing okay. He's got his laptop with him, so there's a chance that he'll be online sometime in the next few days. And I know what you're all thinking, yes his Caity plushie is safe and sound.

Miles: Sorry, no can do. If he wants to give it to you, that's up to him. I'm not one to give out others' numbers.

Well, I hope all is well with Tavis.

Also, that's be one heck of a long distance call if you did give Tavis a ring.
