"I... killed someone..." Leans heavily against the wall. "Hes dead because ... of me..."

[GhostWay]

GhostWay, who had been standing in a corner, goes into shock and falls over.

As Richard lies there, on the stairs, he begins to dream...<br><br>============================<br><br>An open field, near a river, with a north-south road running along its eastern edge, completely surrounded with trees. Richard is surrounded by 6 people. Gizensha, Tails, Rooster, GhostWay, Bocaj, and Ruedii, who's still knocked out, and inexplicably on the road. Suddenly, a large black werewolf lunges out of the woods to the southwest. Richard runs in the opposite direction, as everybody starts to follow. In the woods, now. A menacing shape is ahead and to the left, so Richard banks right, and trips over a root. He gets up and resumes running. Fade to next scene:<br><br>That same open field. Richard, Gizensha, Tails, Rooster, Bocaj, and Ghostway enter from the south. <i>The werewolf continued to the south! Its pawprints are in the dirt alongside the road!</i> The group fails to notice it, probably due to lighting conditions. <i>This is the same open field! We must have ran in a half circle!</i> Richard starts a small fire, revealing Ruedii's corpse. Richard vomits on the ground, on the other side of the road from the southward pawprints. Fade to next scene:<br><br>The house. Richard grabs the gun from Bocaj from Bocaj, and fires at the werewolf. The werewolf collapses. Beyond Tails' corpse, the bush from which the werewolf appeared shakes in the wind. A set of pawprints leads to the bush from behind the house. Another set of pawprints leads down the main road, pausing where a bloodstain appears in front of the door. <i>There were three werewolves! One of them must've been one of us!</i><br><br>============================<br><br>Richard wakes up, breathing heavily, at the bottom of the stairs. He gets up.

[Bocaj Claw]

Yep. Bocaj is still muttering to himself while leaning against a wall.

[Richard K Niner]

"You still awake, Bocaj?" asks Richard. Light begins to trickle into the top half of the room; dawn is arriving on the suspiciously quiet settlement.

[Bocaj Claw]

"I haven't slept a wink. Everytime I close my eyes..." Sudden fake cheer <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... iggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> "So! Whats for eats?"

[Richard K Niner]

"I don't know," responds Richard. <i>Everybody should be up by now</i>, he thinks. <i>But nobody's outside yet. Are they afraid of the werewolf, or something? Did the gunshots scare them?</i><br><br>"Does this place seem a bit ... <i>quiet</i> ... to you?" Richard suddenly queries Bocaj.

[Bocaj Claw]

"Well, yes but..." <!--emo&:blink:--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' /><!--endemo--> "Whens the last time we checked upstairs?"

[Richard K Niner]

Richard runs up the stairs, tripping over Ghostway at the top, to land flat on his face in the middle of the room.

[GhostWay]

GhostWay is jarred to conciousness from Richard's tripping.<br><br>"Ow. That's the <i>last</i> time I fall on my back." He looks around, notices RKN on the floor, and helps him up. "Sorry. I'm afraid I make an excellent obstacle to trip over."

[Richard K Niner]

"Well, that's life!" shrugs Richard, looking around at Ghostway, Bocaj, Gizensha, and Rooster. "Looks like that's everyone!" Richard reports to Bocaj.

[Bocaj Claw]

"Is everybody up there alright?"

[Richard K Niner]

"Well, it looks like Giz and Rooster actually had a good night's sleep. When should I break the news to them?"

[Bocaj Claw]

"I'll wait until they wake up, though. They look so <i>peaceful</i>," says Richard, walking back down the stairs. He picks up the gun at the bottom, and pockets it.
