Werewolves

[Richard K Niner]

Richard reaches the back door, and begins opening it, readily looking out for both werewolf prints and Rooster, who said that he was watching the back door.

[TyVulpine]

Tails whips the gun around, and aims it around, watching while Richard opens the door, watching for any signs of movement from behind the door.

*still outside trying to peer around the others* "Do I even want to see that thing?"

[TyVulpine]

"No, you don't!" Tails snapped, not taking his eyes off the room beyond the door.

[Richard K Niner]

Richard opens the door, revealing that the dirt beyond it is unmarked. A faint, chilled, "Who's there?" comes from behind the open door.<br><br>Richard steps out and pulls Rooster in. "Relax, it's just us," responds Richard. He heads back into the front room.

Tails double checks, then puts the gun away, and follows Richard.

Richard motions for the group to huddle. "The werewolf did not re-enter through the back door," he reports. "So there is no reason to think that it's still here. Since I'm not quite ready to try any other houses, or alert anyone of our presence, I recommend that we camp out upstairs. That way, we limit the werewolf to only one point of entry."<br><br>Richard pulls a silver plated padlock out of his pocket, commenting, "Don't ask how it got there." He continues, "There's a door at the top of the stairs. If I can fashion a lock on it, the werewolf will wake us if it tries to break through. Just so that everyone knows..." Richard turns over the padlock, revealing a sticker on the back, with the number 60-42-06 printed on it.<br><br>"That's the combination. So if I get killed, you all know how to use it."

[TyVulpine]

"If it didn't 're-enter', and there's no set of prints leading OUT, just IN, then doesn't that mean it's still here? Possibly in this room? Possibly listening to our conversation? Possibly ONE OF US?" Tails asked, getting a little panicky.

[Richard K Niner]

"Well, it clearly left after killing that one on the floor. It could be one of us, but it could also be anybody in the village. I'm not going to point fingers until we have more information, which we can get after dawn. In the meantime, we all need a good night's sleep."

[TyVulpine]

"Y'all can sleep. I ain't. I don't want to wake up dead." Tails nervously pawed the Magnum.

[Richard K Niner]

"Well, you can always keep the night watch, just outside the room upstairs..." suggests Richard. "Because you don't want a werewolf to have the element of surprise. Look what happened to this poor guy."

[TyVulpine]

"Looks like I just volunteered for First Watch. Okay, wise guy. I bid you good night!" Tails turned, and crept nervously to a window, watching for any signs of trouble.

Richard walks upstairs, opening the door at the top to let everyone in. As all but Tails enter, he closes the door behind himself.

"Hm... I suggest that we have two people on watch. They can look out after each other and keep each other awake. It will also deal with the trust issue."

[Richard K Niner]

"Well, who should we send out?"
