Werewolves

[Rooster]

Rooster runs out in front of Giz.<br><br>"Lycanthropy? Like werewolves? Are you insane?"<br><br>

[Gizensha]

Gizensha smiles. "According to some, yes. But not clinically so. Last I checked, anyway. My reasoning is 'normal footprints abruptly stopping to be replaced by giant ones', as Richard so elequently put it. Or somethink like that, anyway. To me, this suggests some sort of lycanthropy." He pauses. "Or maybe an accident involving a cursed ancient artifact.... Or maybe a piggy-back ride, but somehow I don't think this is the sort of place where fun and games would leave tracks...."

[Bocaj Claw]

" ... I don't want to believe this but.... Ruedii dead... the rest of us being attacked by strange creatures... these strange clothes... What is going on here?"

[Gizensha]

Gizensha shrugs... "One of many, many possabilities. Random natural transtemporal field; We're pawns in someone's sick twisted idea for a game; Someone's playing a very elaberate practical joke on us; One of us asked for life to be less boring... The important thing isn't what's going on, since we would appear to be powerless to stop it. We can worry about what's going on later. Right now what's important is what we do about it. And ultimately, that we survive"

[Richard K Niner]

Richard brandishes his torch. "And remember: until we can determine otherwise, there's two of them, so watch your back. Onward!"<br><br>Richard resumes the march northward, expecting everyone to follow.

[Gizensha]

Gizensha decides that since he has the other tourch, to lag at the tail end of the covoy/fresh meat parade, depending on if you're one of the monsters, or part of the group. He lets the others begin marching behind Richard, then joins the rear.

[Rooster]

"This is nuts...we don't even know if anyone's going to be there for Christ's sake!"<br><br>

[Richard K Niner]

The group arrives at the darkened settlement. The two pairs of large footprints/pawprints lead up to a small house near the west end, where one set gets replaces with human footprints. A small amount of what appears to be red paint covers the door handle. Looking to the right, Richard notices that, not surprisingly, nobody is outside.<br><br>A small gust of wind blows across the group, as a chill goes down Richard's spine. "It feels like we've walked into a ghost town," he whispers to nobody in particular.

[TyVulpine]

Tails pulls out the 357 Magnum he had hidden on his back. "Wait....how'd this get there?"

[Bocaj Claw]

" <!--emo&:o--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... s/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo--> Er... I sorta feel uneasy with you pointing that gun around... Is that thing loaded?"

[TyVulpine]

Tails unloaded the chamber and checked the bullet holder. "Six silver bullets...." He muttered.

[Bocaj Claw]

"Thats... strangely convienent... almost as if <i>someone</i> knew we were going to be here... This certainly supports the werewolf theory..."

[TyVulpine]

Tails clicked the holder back into place, and shoved the gun into the front of his pants, for easy reach, being careful not to accidentally fire it....

[Gizensha]

"It also supports the 'someone else's sick twisted idea for a game' theory." Gizensha mutters, half under his breath in response to Bocaj's comment. He scans around the room. "Gentlemen, I believe we are pawns." He states, flatly.

"And here I was thinking reality TV gone horribly wrong."
