Hobbes was probably taken by her "feminine charm" to do anything to deter it. <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I think Hobbes's most disturbing moment was when he said, "I'm easily seduced by a woman in a swimsuit," when the woman in question was a six-year-old human.

Hobbes is a six-year-old human? Yes, I know you mean to indicate that he is alive only in Calvin's mind, but that's open to debate, as Bill Watterson didn't want to make the answer clear. I recently saw pointed out that some things Hobbes did would be hard to explain as something Calvin simulated, like when Calvin's dad found him tied to a chair.

And I don't think Calvin alone had the physical strength to push his mom's car out of the driveway and into a nearby ditch. Nor do I think he has the dexterity to climb a tree and carry Hobbes at the same time.
