Well, I, for one, wouldn't complain if the date were to be pushed back.

By the way, would I be correct in assuming that it is acceptable to do any coloring for these on the computer?

Ok, I suppose pushing the final date a few days wouldn't hurt. It's not like we're struggling with a deadline here. How about 20th February as the finishing date? That gives everyone more than a week to flesh out and complete their drawings. Afterwards I'll post the poll so everyone can vote.

As for colouring by computer I don't see why not, despite certain people having an advantage.

Well, as my entry is only an hour or two away from completion, I return home to find that my scanner has been packed away for a bit, and replaced by...a MIDI KEYBOARD! I mean, seriously, how am I gonna get my pic on the PC with that?

It may be a roundabout way of saying it, but if I can't get an entry in, will you give me a little buffer time, maybe to arrange using a friend's, or getting a decent photo of it on a good digital camera?

Just dropping in to let y'all know in advance,

~Ozy

Not long left now...and I decided to change to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I've got a sketch and I'm confident I can get it in by tomorrow. My previous one, just didn't spark enough for me personally. How is everyone else doing?

*PING!*

Yep. Apologies for the crinkled paper - I underestimated the guage I'd need. The colours look a little washed out in places too, but that's the scanner. I don't believe in doing something in watercolour then screwing around with it in Photoshop.

I think it turned out well, consideringI haven't touched the paints in nearly a month. I also used my own style for Ozy (nearly used DCS') but I thought that, as in all my other drawings I've been using his for a while now, it was time I tried my hand at my own again.

Logo in bottom left is subject to change before final close.

EDIT: And the line across the bottom is straight. I know that for certain, I just didn't flatten it out on the scanner in case I damaged it

The B.F.G. by Roald Dahl

Ok, finally got it in time. It's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Ms. Mudd and Locke looked okay until my awful inking made them look strange, I promise). I'm linking to the image because it's a little big (but not too big, don't be scared to click), which is because I have lost all ability to correctly resize the pictures my scanner scans. It's a lousy scanner that has lead a troublesome existance and scans kind of weird.

However, it's looking to be a dire contest if it's just Ozymandias and me.

Lol. "Millie was here".

*sigh* If my drawing skills were better (and if I could find the book I'm thinking of, where the heck did it get to?), I might have entered this...

...seriously, folks, Mr. Simpson's age-5 drawing abilities put my current skills to shame Especially that Pac-man one.

Edit: Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a *little*... but stick figures are pretty much the only thing I can draw (and I have seen from many comments on the board that I'm not alone here ). Stick figures and my avatar.

my entry didn't get to color it, though it's set up to be.
