Allow me to clarify.

I left because of the conflict that I started. I claim full responsibility for it. I left so that the forum would have time to heal. I did not wish for the conflict to happen, but it did, and that is something I cannot change.

After this post, you can consider me banished for a short time. I violated the rules, and decided that I should take some responsibility for this. Whether the moderators decide to actually banish me is completely their choice. But I feel I must answer, in one way or another, for my actions.

Once again, I sincerely apologize for the conflict that I wrought upon this peaceful forum. May it never happen again, by myself or another member.

So please, please, let it die. Forget about this issue, and let this place return to the peaceful discussion board it was. Do not let my ignorance, my emotional outbursts, destroy what you have here. This board was fine before I arrived. It can survive without me, I am sure.

--GhostWay

It can survive without me, I am sure.

--GhostWay

I think we both started the conflict, but that is besides the point.

Anyways, I don't think you get what we're saying, the forum is already healed over, and it will heal the rest of the way better with you here. Fighters like us tend to heal fast. I'm also practically through with my nyquil hangover, but I have been avoiding certain debate methods until I am fully over it.

WE NEED YOU. You're our archiver. You're the only person other than me who can look stuff up easily. I'm just qualified for that as a jack of all trades, my real skill is computers, engineering and ethics related philosophy/theology (A quite complementary skill-set) as I've said many times. You're a far better archiver than me.

Also, you hapen to be one of the best people to have a debate with, so long as it doesn't get personal. You are incredible at that. However, Tavis did note, where the two of us are so great at debating, we should slow down our debates to give others a chance to chime in, or everyone gets lost. I'd interpret this, considering my abilities, and the abilities you have shown me, we should probably only work on one counterpoint at once, since we're both good archivers we can look back and find the point where we branched, to get back to the main point once the branch is concluded.

Jacob has been horendously lost when we start posting the 3 page long posts, and I agree with Tavis that we should stop doing that.

I may be good at suggesting how to improve things, but I'm far from able to always do such designs myself, that's often my skill as an engineer. One of the techniques used in engineering, is learning how to look at something you never could have done yourself, and regardless of that add your own knowledge to improve it even more. It doesn't mean the previous work was something you could have done yourself. For instance, when I suggest a pattern, color, or effect change on a drawing or photo. I may not be as skilled as you at geometric drawings, but I can easily recognize where my experience has told me improvement could be made.

Anyone who I do this to should take it as a compliment, as if I thought it was inferior, I'd say "keep trying" or some other way of politely saying "you may want to go back to the drawing board a few more times." Constructive criticism from me is hardly an insult, in fact it's a complement that I think it's worth improving upon, and you have a worthwhile venture. I rarely try to compare myself directly to others unless I am angry, as even though everything is reletive, measurement depends on what dimensions you use to relate two objects, and frankly, I would be a little biased in choosing those dimensions, as you can see when I get angry because my intellegence is threatened *Smirk*

BTW, I agree with DC Simpson on you're intro to Ozy and Millie section of the Ozy and Millie topic archive, to index a non-beginning intro segment. However, I would add the recommendation finding several suitable points.

My cold is almost completely gone, and once it is I have to run system maintainance on my computer, which means backups, editing huge directorys and tons of other work. If you'd like to discuss archiving techniques you use, I bet I could learn to integrate them into my style. I could also teach you a few of my methods on profiling design changes in art, and how they reflect the evolution of an art-liniage, such as a comic.

I have a clarification as well.

The reason I left was primarily because I'm tired of Ruedii's attitude, tired of having to watch what I say to keep from baiting him, and tired of listening to him belittle and fight with my friends here. I can't make him leave, I can't change him, so I've left so I won't have to deal with him anymore.

Will I be back? Who knows. Farewell, have nice lives, and to those of you whose names don't start with Rue-, stay in touch over IM clients. And sorry if this post is out of line, but right now, I could care less.
