I drew the ones to the left first and worked my way to the right; dropping some artistic methods (like the loop around the eye thing) and adding some new ones (like mapping out the figure with bubble skeletons.) The first time I drew the face to my satisfaction was the one that I fleshed out with a full body; the one in the middle. I winged that one, and my problem with winging cartoons is that once I make a cartoon figure I like, I get attached to how it looks, and yet I can never seem to duplicate it again, since that's another problem with me and cartooning: I can never draw the same thing twice. It's rather frustrating, but ah well.

Two of my charaters I use to practice drawing, don't ask me why but I don't like drawing generic things so anything I draw will eventually get a name and some of the ones I draw more often, a personality.

The one on the right is the cat Bianca who I already posted a drawing of. On the left we have Oz the Phoenix. I made him up when I was about 7 or 8.

Edit: I just remembered, somewhere around here I have a drawing of Oz from... well a long time ago. If I manage to dig I up I'll post it too for interests sake.

I'll give it another try though sadly that one was the best of 5 attempts.

Edit: Well it's still not perfect but it's a lot better than it was.

Edit 2: That's better

I was fooling around a bit with the Pen tool and some images in Photoshop, and I came up with this. Don't ask what or why, I really don't know, and I was bored.

Doc Fred: Those are some fascinating dragon expressions. Ever consider trying to animate them?

Adorable characters, Sparrow! I am anxiously anticipating when you plan to post the really old drawing of Oz.

Ghostway, I wish I had the Photoshopping skills to draw so well. Good work!
