"Innocence" and Locke

Eh, I don't know if this fits in better here or in the "Anything" board instead, but I'm right now watching a Star Trek: Voyager episode, "Innocence," that reminds me of Captain Locke. Actually, Captain Locke reminded me of this episode, but that's not important. I thought it seemed a good time to bring up the idea of a species that would age backwards relative to us.<br><br>In the episode, Tuvok has crash-landed on a planet where he encounters several children. Anyway, I guess saying it's like Locke's universe under the couch cushions has already spoiled it for you, but it turns out that the children are the oldest members of their people, and they were cast off onto that planet to die and vanish mysteriously in a cave on the planet. I just thought the fact they age backwards was relevant enough to post here. And it's just classic seeing Tuvok's reactions to the children.

I remember that episode, that was one of the really good ones in my opinion. <br>Honestly, i had forgotten about that... kinda strange though. When did that episode come out? was it towards the end of the series, or earlier? i thought it was later, but i don't know for certain.

I've never seen Voyager but i can swear there was an episode like that in the orginal series. I might be mistaken, it's been years since i've seen that series.

There was an epsiode that involved the crew ageing backward in Star Trek but it's a highly obscure one. The episode is named "The counter-clock incident" and was a part of the animated Star Trek that came out in 1973. It lastted two seasions for a total of 22 episodes. Very bad animation for the most part but on the good side they used the actual actors voices and being animated gave the creaters room to have some interedsting alien and ship designs. If they had done a better job , in my opinion, with the animation (eliminated the Jerkiness, etc) it had possibility of being a decent series.<br><br>Yes, I'm a bit of Star Trek (The original series) fan, and yes I have the animated series in it's entirety in AVI format on my comp. Can't say as I've been too happy with the spin offs with the exception of "Enterprise" which I love! Never seen it, I have seen Star TRek though, and I do remember one of them very well, but I'd only watch it again if it was in a confortable time with my schedule.

I highly reccommend it. It takes place before the Original series. Before the Federation is formed. I admit that it doesn't hurt that I love the ship design. It's got that experimental look to it.
