rutabegas (<i>Brassica napobrassica</i>) are native to Sweden, but the phrase "rutabega" is english American, derived from the Swedish word "rotabagge". It is also known as "swede," "yellow turnip" and "neep" in other parts of the world.<br><br>The Scottish, who call it a "neep", serve it as a dish for the Burns Night Supper and hollow it out for a Jack O' Lantern on Hallowe'en.<br><br>But most importantly, it's a reference to <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/2001/om20010905.html' target='_blank'>this Ozy and Millie strip</a>.
