It's from <i>Star Trek: The Next Generation</i>, Season 6, Episode 11, "Chain of Command, part II." Basically, it's part of a Cardassian torture method; the Gul flicks on four lights, tells the victim there is five. When the victim says there is only four, he hass pain inflicted upon him. This repeats until the victim starts to believe anything the Gul says.<br><br>What's sad is that I could even remember that it was Season 6 of TNG...<br><br>But it might also be a reference to George Orwell's <i>1984</i>.<br>
