Cool! I know I have the program somewhere on my HD; I remember stumbling across it a few times. Heh, perhaps now I'll finally check it out

And of course, after the song and titles, each episode would open up with a panoramic view of a Pacific Nortwest town, eventually panning down to the first scene of action involving a character, all accompanied by a brief introductory narration by the one, the only... George Carlin

"Many western religions consider Sunday to be a day of great signifigance, upon which one should reinforce their spiritual connection with their higher power of choice by means of ritual meditative practices... Except during football season. Our story today just happens to begin on a typical Sunday morning at the Llewellyn household. Of course, when you're dealing with with the Llewellyn household, "typical" is a pretty relative term."

Wonderful! It seems I've heard something introduced with George Carlin narration myself, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it was.

That the strip has had narration-like captions in the past makes it even more likely that this would work.

The more we talk about this, the more an "Ozy and Millie" TV show seems like a good idea.

EDIT: BTW, Waffle, here's your thousand points. Go buy some maple syrup or something.

Actually, I came up with a couple more details for the "opening sequence"...

First of all, during the guitar refrain, the two main characters would actually be drawn and colored in rapidly. First Ozy, calmly strumming his guitar, and then Millie, who GRABS his top-hat and runs off without hesitation as soon as she's drawn and colored in!

Also, we'd have to come up with things for the characters in the background to be doing...

Maybe Principal Vine running into Ms. Sorkowitz while carrying a huge stack of papers as O&M run by in the school hallway?

Or maybe Timulty playing in the sandbox as they run through the park?

And of course, Llewellyn just stis there, smiling and calmly smoking his pipe even as two fox children run rampant around him.

For the record, I do love that song; it's definitely appropriate.

Yeah, I know how to edit songs. I should probably try to listen to your version again and then edit with my version of the song, it'll sound better. Would anyone want a higher quality version of the edited one?
