Yeah, about religion...

I'm sorry for bringing the topic up.

I'm not trying to press anything on anybody, and I certainly don't want this to become a flame-war. I only made this a topic because I felt this board was, in fact, civil enough to discuss this in a rational manner. I've been on other boards that discussed religion, and there was no problem with it. I saw this as a somewhat equivilant post and topic.

And anyway, I slightly disagree on the "topics of religion always became flame wars" thing. Topics like these, in my opinion, only became flame-wars if we let them. Only you are in charge of what you say, no one else.

I only wanted to know what others thought and why they thought so. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

I will not comment on this subject further.

If I remember correctly, we've had a few of these sort of topics in the world event forum, and they didn't do particularly good. Even with our level of maturity and open-mindedness, it still seems to have gone awry. I acted on instinct based on other similar threads I have come across on dozens of forums. I apologize if I offended anyone with my outburst earlier, but someone had to say it.

I'm gonnae say one thing and one thing only;

Religion and Evolution were the downfall of my previous favourite board, because there were about 5 of us (including me i must admit) and we started off debating civilly but ended up at each other's throats...

Therefore, I am keeping well out of this thread. I won't even reply if u buy me a 10 foot barge pole. No-sir-ree
The end is nigh!

I've got one with Megaman and beneath it says, "Say hello to my little friend.".
Sadly I do not have the "I beat the 8 robot masters." t-shirt.

Hot Topic carries a whole crapload of old-school VG shirts, including those two.

Fred: that may be the most mature and unique way of discussing religion ever. You should mediate middle-east peace talks and just give everyone funny shirts.

I want Fred's t-shirt. Where is the DC store?

And I am curious about one thing. Is anyone here sensitive about this topic being discussed? Maeglin? DarkDragon? Because the last thing I want to happen is for anyone to be offended. If you are, we probably shouldn't bring up the subject. Just looking for your thoughts.
Still mostly here.

Now, if there's anything off about this topic, it's that people are now off-topic. This isn't about shirts, it's about one's religious beliefs, and well, while it's not something everyone agrees on, it is something that if you feel like sharing, you may.
