Regarding the hair curse, it's not genetic, so it won't bother with lineage. As far as it is concerened, Ozy is now the next in line on the family tree from Llewellyn.

These are points brought up in the chatroom last night about the Llewellyn Hair Curse and Isolde. Much thanks go to Zaaphod for leading the discussion.<br><br>Isolde is Ozy's fourth cousin (see <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om20000701.html' target='_blank'>Consternation</a>), so that means their common ancestor is four generations up (i.e. a great-great-grandparent).<br><br>Percival Smaug Llewellyn is Ozy's great-grandfather (see <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om20010622.html' target='_blank'>Great-grandfather Percival Smaug Llewellyn</a>).<br><br>So by those two facts alone, it is obvious Isolde is not descended from Percival Smaug Llewellyn. Unfortunately for all of Ozy's first, second, and third cousins, if the curse is real, they are victims of it as well.<br><br>I think it is really awesome to see these things pass the microscopic scrutiny of fans, and as a fan, I consider it equally as much fun trying to see how well these pieces fit together. Does it matter? No, not really. It is however something people like to do to exercise their abilities to think and reason instead of being served all of the facts.
