Every now and then (like, every three months) I get out my stack of old comp games I've collected over the years and played them again one by one so I won't forget the fun I used to have when I played them heaps, my favs out of them are Fury3, Deadly Tide, StarCraft, StarCraft Demo, SimCity3000 (if it'd bloody work anymore), and of course ye old Kings Quest IIV.

But I don't play games much anymore, and the last time a got a game was probably... StarCraft.

Currently playing:

Bombastic (ps2)
Dungeon Keeper 2 (pc)
Theme Hospital (pc)
Silent Hill 2 Directer's cut (ps2)

...As for columns - I thaught the level counter maxed out at 99... Might be misremembering, all I know is I once had a game that lasted over three days where I basically was just playing columns, pausing to eat and sleep. Lets just say I haven't played the game since and have no intention of doing ever again.

And as for Sonic 1... I really lost sight of how awsome this game was (after getting used to dash attack in Sonic 2, it becomes tricky to play, and then you get the godliness of s3&k)... Until I wound up entertaining my seven year old and eight year old neice. There reaction not only reminded me why I love the sonic series of games, but why I got into gaming in the first place. And they say modern day kids can't apprechiate the 2d games.

IIV isn't an actual number you know. It should be III; unless you meant IV or VII.

For me it's been Civ 3 (enjoying myself as the greeks and in another 4 turns I'll have the Apollo project completed..........in 1828!!) also with mame32 I've been having a blast playing Strikers 1945, a serious addrenaline junkies game. Even on easy the thing's nuts to play.
We're sorry but the number that you have dialed is imaginary....Please turn your phone 90 degrees and try again.
