Perhaps the picket fence slowed them down.

As I said before... *GASP* *cowers in fear under bed*

Well, lets see, there's the fact neither of them can drive the truck, the picket fence thing, and who can forget the "Um... How do we work the peddles?". All in all, it's entirely possable that Ozy got back to Greater Llewellynlland before them.

Quite a funny strip, though. I just hope they get out of this unscathed. Somehow.

BTW, they also hit a traffic sign, this slowed them down even more :-)

On the other hand, we didn't see any vehicle used to bring them to the weigh station, so it's probably at walking distance from Greater Llewellynlland.

Nope. Still funny. It'll get less funny when the cab explodes with the two of them inside.... but maybe even then it could be funny. It's all a matter of context, you know.

I think you're missing a very obvious answer to how Ozy got home first. Ozy would just go directly home, no diversions, but Millie already pointed out her 'stay the course' single track route, which could take them on a more roundabout path.

Or simply, Ozy came home first to give the following strips a suitable story. Not everything has to make sense.

Ozy prolly know the way home and mille could be lost they walked their so ozy could go the way they came but if they cut cross country mille might not know who to get back.

I don't know if I really like this arc very much. It seems like too much, even for Isolde and Millie. It's a felony and extremely dangerous, not innocent mischief (and yea, I just said innocent mischief, I don't care if it's an oxymoron).
