Well that's fairly obvious. Like the plumbing version of time and a half cab hours.

Welll for a while I've been going to this percussion camp.
Fun.
And recently I had to help some freshman out at an orientation. It was 8 hours of nonsense.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Omigawd it was so funny today...
In English the teacher was talking about how to make great speaches and using retorical questions to get the audience feeling more involved is a good part of it and my friend asked what a retorical question was and she said "It's a question that isn't supposed to be answered" and then my friend started going on about, "How can there be a question that isn't suppsed to be answered!? That just doesn't make sense! What's the point of a question if it doesn't get answered!?" and the teacher said "People use retorical questions all the time, Tom, you just havn't noticed..." and Tom goes "Who asks a question and doesn't want an answer!? I mean seriously, what the hell is the point of a question that isn't supposed to be answered!? It's so stupid!"
And then I started laughing at the irony of what he was saying cuz he wasn't expecting an answer to his questions, he was just saying them as retorical questions, and everyone started to crack up laughing at the irony of it all!
He was feeling so stupid after that, lol...
Man, doncha luv it when stuff like that happens...
Also, in speaches, most retorical questions get answered by the asker.

The trick is figuring out what questions are retorical and what are designed to generate genuine audience interaction to keep the audience alert. But those aren't really speaches, they're presentations.

I think the standard practice in the US is to break up somewhere between late May and early June, and start up in August. I think they get about two-three months off in summer.
