i agree that evolution of a topic can yield more than sticking to a topic but if u drift too far then ppl wont find what they're lookin for in a topic.

I had aths today!
I was in the under 16s 200 metre div whjich was set at 1:30 so I wandered off to play with some friends and I went back at 1:20 to find it had already been run, I had missed it so our house came last by default in that event because of me!
And I was the only person in our house to miss an event, that really sucks.

And yeah, I madeup for it by going in the novice (the one which you go in if you haven't gone in any other race) and I came 3rd, beating an old rival as well.
So it wasn't too bad. Ech.

The 1:30 was only an approximate time, and I didn't know that... *sigh.*

And if they say they'll be there 'anytime from 12:00', you can sure count on them arriving at 10:30am if they arrive that day at all.

And if you're out at 10:30, they blame it on you for not being in at the arranged time, naturally.

lol once my dad need a plumber and he waited for him at home. The plumber didnt turn up all day, and when phoned said
"I called ur office. They said u weren't in today"
"Yes, thats cos i was waiting here for you to arrive"
"Oh. Yeah. Shoulda thought of that, shouldn't I?"

yeah. u should have.

Another time they said they'd be there about lunchtime. So he waited. And waited. He had to go out at 3 and when he got back there was a little card had been posted through the letter box saying they called at 4:30pm and he wasn't in. They were three and a half hours late. How can u be so late? How can they blame the customer? When I get some money I'm going to apply for a government grant, get a van painted with a logo and some recent immigrants (legal, of course); then I'm gonna get them trained as plumbers, get them schooled a bit in English and run a 24 hour plumbing firm. Then laugh all the way to the bank.

I hear there's more money in cappechino machine repairs. At least in America. But what do plumbers charge over here, 20 an hour or something stupid?
