The only browsers I've used were IE and Opera (had to use Opera when IE was going through some crazyness).
I still use IE cuz... I dunno, I'm completely used to it.
But after reading all these posts on FireFox I'm temped to try it.
And yeah, I was temped before anyways because of the name, :heh:.

On the occasions I've used Mozilla, it took a lot longer to load, was less stable, and gave more non-page-related errors. Out of lack of knowledge for other Internet browsers, I use IE.

Sign of nOObness #1:

You don't know the difference beteen Mozilla, FireFox, IE, Netscape, or any of the others.

And this would be why the embedding of IE into windows is a bad thing

Of course, one would like to know what the difference is... *cough MILES cough*

Without being unbiased toward IE... Hm... This could be tricky.

The only two I'm familiar with are IE and Firefox, so I'll just use those.

Firefox has tabbed browsing features (meaning you can have multiple web pages open in one window. It's a feature you either love or ignore, and alot more useful (if you love it) than it sounds), pop-up ad blocker (doesn't solve the problem of javascript ads, sadly), is open source meaning you essentially have lots of people working on it to make something they can be proud of, is still in beta and has felt like a full version since at least 0.4 (I'm still scared of what the first non-beta will be like considering), and is complient with html standards. Plus you have a range of optional extension downloads for it (eg, one that allows you to get rid of elements on webpages that you don't want up, which can be useful for some sites with too many ads, but there are loads of extensions). It's fairly fast and stable.

Onto the finnicy details that don't actually matter... It's got a really cool logo and has fox in the name.

IE is compatable with microsoft extensions to html 4 (eg the Marquee tag, which I'm not sure if firefox actually coded that in), also compatable with dynamic html, which is very rarely used because other methods of doing the things you can do with dhtml are often considered superior. It's slower that in could be, has some of microsofts infamous bugs, and until version 5 was extremely unstable, and up to version 6 I wouldn't exactly describe as 'stable'. Version six seems to work, though.

Onto the finnicy details that don't actually matter... It's by Microsoft and it's logo is boring as hell.

As far as web-browsers are concerned don't actually matter.

As far as satisfaction from using the program is concerned, however
