You may, or may not have, noticed that I haven't been on. I'm back now though. My computer was down. But my wonderful dad fixed it for me. Yay!

Heh my monitor went on the blink on Friday (It is older than O&M, it came with my 1st PC that had Win 95 just new on it. And it runs 1024x768! Amazing, seeing as on win 95 u couldnt run more than 800x600!) I blame it, but then it worked, then it would get to the "Windows XP loading" screen and after that, blank.

So I slapped the PC (as u do to fix stuff) and it turned off and wouldn't go back on again. Then my brother came home, tried it and everything worked perfectly! Typical!

Nice to have u back.

I almost lost my comp as well.
What happened was I was testing a site I'm making on different resolutions and when I tried a high one my monitor couldn't handle it and gave me a "FREQUENCY OUT OF RANGE" message, and as a reflex action I hit Enter, then realised I said okay to that "If you do not give a response within 15 seconds blah blah blah..." and then... it set it as that, and I couldn't see nothing on the screen except the monitors error message flashing every 10 seconds.
And yeah... I had to rack my memory of the button sequence to change the screen res to get it back...

Welcome back Frankenmuth2!
*Hides.*

U spent all that time instead of booting it up in (un)Safe Mode?

Nah, safe mode when I changed the res it wouldn't affect the res setting for the normal mode which is really stupid.
