Wasn't he in the middle of writing another book when he passed away?

I think so. Here's the Douglas Adams web site, it may have some more info . . .

Salmon of Doubt contains a sort of collection of various bits he wrote for it.

I've had a weird history with those books, I had heard of them, and they sounded neat, so I actually downloaded them off Kazaa. Read the first three books and decided to get it for christmas. Got it for christmas, read half of So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, then stopped. Around April I decided to finish it. I forgot everything though, so I started all over. As it is now I need to read Mostly Harmless still.

Really really awesome books.
Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

This seems to be a common theme in my life, that conversations develop into discussions over The Guide. . .

They're great books, and I'd recommend reading them a few times so you catch everything.

I agree. Great books, but I got confused over time travel and such. That always happens to me. It was better not understanding properly, though, as it felt like the book was in control.

(OK, no need to shove. I'll go commit myself now)
The end is nigh!

Nothing like a little healthy insanity to keep your outlook on the world straight . . .
