Did everyone check out that transit thingy when venus passed over the sun or the moon or whatever it was?<br><br>i peeked at it.. but it was like 645 in the morning.. and i was half asleep it looked like a little smudge blocking the one side of the sun/moon... than i turned around and fell black asleep <br><br>if you miss it you can see it again in another 8 years... <br><br>if you miss it than you better hope your alive in 112 some odd years to catch it again!
isn't that spit on your neck kick you in the crotch fantastic

I saw it. One of the teachers had a telescope set up in front of the school.

Unfortunatly is was in the billion people that couldn't see the transit of Venus.<br><br>I did see webcam pictures of it though, I'm a vonenteer at the Auckland observitory/planeterium and there was a big show on about it complete with live pictures of the transit (from Athens I think).

It's twice in two hundred years or so with an interval of eight years. That would make it 2012, the year the current Aztec cycle is scheduled to end and all sorts of catastrophes are set to occur. It's really interesting when these events happen like this.
