DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
Moderator:Æron
EDITED story: I inadvertantly made Liz sound like a horrible person when she called Fritz racist but in this context racism was lighthearted and cute, really. Reread that part (ctrl-f for "racist").
Also: Arloests, in MY furcon? I wouldn't believe it until you slapped me across my face and kicked me.

Yeah but Fritz is racist as hell so it's accurate anyway.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Wasn't Fritz somebody who was banned from here years ago before I came on board?Yeah but Fritz is racist as hell so it's accurate anyway.
Re: DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
Racist in the opposite way that 90%+ people think of though.
Arloest does this mean you're coming to the next DC furcon? Or will you make us climb a mountain because I'd totally scale K2 with you.

I was saying in irc before and after the con that I wish that were so.Tai, you surprising everyone by showing up unexpectedly is cool and all, but imagine how epic it would have been if -I- showed up unexpectedly.
Re: DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
You know what would have been even more unexpected? If I had shown up.
Re: DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
You know what would've been even MORE unexpected? If a giant meteor crashed to earth right at the exact geographical location of the con hotel, ending the world in an eruption of fire and chaos.

OK. pants it. I lied. It's drum and bass. What you gonna do?

When I make my first public appearance, Jack will be with me, and we'll be making out.

Damn you Define Cynical and your habit of giving me awkward drawing ideas.

Simon was one of the first people who said he'd let you stay in the room free though and plus he was all eager to sleep with you.I did feel obligated to tell Simon because he's sorta the one paying for the room but he kept the secret \o/
Haha yeah :3 Good times. He dutifully returns and Liz takes awhile to realize Jason has put the tissue on her head:
Ohohoho that made me lolll. Oh, Steven-kun =3I go upstairs with the somewhat-distressed hackeysacker and wait for Engineering to save the day from Steven once again.
Thanks for writing this :D Your account of MFF was extremely enjoyable to read because it brought back so many pleasant memories :)
Except Liz killing me repeatedly playing werewolf. That made me sad.
Re: DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
p good time
Re: DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
Changed some stuff; check errata for details. This should be the last time. Was sorta hoping other people would poast their pictures (LIZ LGNATO).
Also you reminded me that I didn't properly thank you guys for letting me stay in the hotel. Seems that bit got lost in the middle of all my cutting and pasting.
Once more, many thanks to 5hfifty Aeron Lgnato likeafox and Liz and for graciously allowing me to stay for free in the hotel; I convinced myself that mooching was fine since I wasn't really taking up resources at the hotel - but the fact remains that you guys shouldered my weight and I really do appreciate it.
Thank YOU for telling me this! I was doing it mostly for myself so I wouldn't forget anything, but I love that someone else liked it too! Thanks for writing thisYour account of MFF was extremely enjoyable to read because it brought back so many pleasant memories

I sure wish I had friends like YOU guys do.
Looks like a fun time! (MY day WILL come, BET me!)

Re: DCcon (or "how 13 internet friends met irl")
Just wanted to say I re-read this last night and nearly teared up for some reason. Not because of the memories of the pizza, I promise!
Miss you guys.
