Maybe he could do that instead of a dumbed-down O&M

Well, not really an "instead of" but an "in addition to." I Drew This is more of an editorial/political comic than Ozy & Millie is (although politics does show up occasionally). And a dumbed-down O&M would probably have no politics at all.<br>

Nope, politics are unlikely, just cheap gags and bathroom humour. And possibly the occasional pun. That seems to be what sells in newspapers, even though that sort of thing sucks. Why do you think comic strips repeat themselves so much? There are a limited number of jokes/joke types that the average person would find funny, and aside from cultural references, these have to be recycled in order to remain in print.

Wait a sec, just cuz it'd be for the mainstream peoples doesn't mean it has to be sucky.<br>I think I Drew This would be perfect for his new version, but it's kinda too rantful and one sided to be accepted widely.

BSP: <i>I drew this</i> is a political cartoon. Mr. Simpson is looking for a new cartoon to fit into the dail comics pages. That is very diferent then a political cartoon.

I Drew This wouldn't work for newspaper comics since it's not in the standard 4 panel (though that's been reduced to 3 now) layout. It could function as a political cartoon somewhere though.

A bit late, but...<br><br>the current location of the strip is now <a href='http://www.idrewthis.org/2004/irs.html' target='_blank'>http://www.idrewthis.org/2004/irs.html </a>, if anyone cares.
Still mostly here.
