Yeah. It's odd that DCS would reference that particular tragedy instead of having Lew mention a generic airship. Unless Lew is trying to say that MIllie's plan is doomed to crash and burn.Most airships didn't crash and burn.

He's just being symbolic. He may not have actually been on the Hindenburg

I thought the implication was that he caused the explosion by sneezing (which would be the only reason I could think of that DCS specifically chose the Hindenburg disaster instead of a myriad of ones that didn't involve mass immolation). The irony, of course, being that Llewelyn kind of orchestrated his own doom, and subconsciously anticipates that Millie will do the same.
Or the Hindenburg was just the first thing he thought of and the analogy is just that Millie is headed for disaster. Either way, he's probably right.
