Cruel though the joke is... I did laugh at the payoff.

That chicken back there is weirding me out the more I look at him, though. He should be wearing sunglasses or something, except there's no bridge between the lenses, so those horrifying black voids could very well be his eyes. Or the empty, sightless sockets that once held them.

As a kid, you always hear this advice, or at least I did. "Bullies will leave you alone if you don't react. They just want a reaction." That may be true, but the reaction doesn't have to be from you, and as long as their idiot bully friends applaud them, they'll keep it up regardless of anything you do.

Actually, alot of bullies do want a reaction. Although I think ignoring them completely counts as a reaction. A better way out is to acknowledge what they are doing but act cool about it. When the bully says you stink at sports come up with a joke that's not at his expense and most bullies will enjoy it.

The thing is, many bullies get even more pissed if you don't react, cause they think you're ignoring them...which is true.
