(Lets speed this up a bit, we already know one comic a day is an unfeasible aim to go with.)
Millie sure knows her spacetalk, also Ozy needs to work on his pretending skills - incidentally I always forget how cuddly and cute the original Ozy and Millie were back in the day, Ozy in panel 3 makes me squee

"Bang, you're dead!"
"No I'm not, you missed."
"Did not!"
"Did so. How else would I still be talking?"
"Fine. Bang!"
"My, what a terrible shot you are!"

Is it just me or does Millie look like she has really big feet? Maybe it's just the shading.

This strip highlights why Ozy was always my favorite in the strip.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Some kids just lack imagination.
Re: Friday, May 1st 1998 - But I'm Still Moving Around
I like the lengthy thought out explanation by Millie in the first panel and how it builds up the perceived importance of this only to get shot down by a simple denial. Someone inject some imagination in that Ozy kid.

what do you mean he's lacking imagination? look closely at his mouth when he's talking, he's grinning so much. He realizes that it's most fun to see the look on Millie's face as he disobeys her.

But he could have done much more. Feinted being hit, then sprung at the last moment and start shooting back while shouting his own weird science, dogding and blasting and they would have had an epic space laser battle with the other kids being hapless aliens running in terror and the playground swings and slides transformed into fantastical other wordly architecture and bizarre landscapes they would traverse until they ran out of breath and slumped on the ground, both still directing their weapons at each other, waiting in several suspense filled panels for their opponent to fall down tired first and rush haphazardly together laughing all the way to the class they're now late to.

This one is such a great strip. It has that character about it which defines O&M.

But that's not Ozy. Ozy is the kind of kid who plays along according to his own rules and his own logic; to feign being dead and then spring up zapping would defy who he is. He wants to play with her, but not this particular game, so he contorts it to his own way of playing; something of a logic puzzle, or a little way to push buttons. He doesn't want to run around and get sweaty and hot and sticky and gross, but he does want to interact, he doesn't want to be lonely, and he still wants to be himself.
To have this happen would be in defiance of him. And that's just terrible.

Indeed, some shady shit is going on below her ankles. Is it just me or does Millie look like she has really big feet? Maybe it's just the shading.

She's wearing big furry boots.
She's cosplaying as HERSELF!
