This. I have to admit I always felt rather awkward browsing a forum with two anthropomorphic fox children at the top while at work/school/in public/other.also makes the forum look very nondescript when browsing at work.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Compounded even moreso when the Yiff board still existed >_>This. I have to admit I always felt rather awkward browsing a forum with two anthropomorphic fox children at the top while at work/school/in public/other.also makes the forum look very nondescript when browsing at work.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

Re: Demand
The general icons don't particularly help the "at work" thing =PThis. I have to admit I always felt rather awkward browsing a forum with two anthropomorphic fox children at the top while at work/school/in public/other.also makes the forum look very nondescript when browsing at work.

You shouldn't be looking at stuff on the computer while at work anyways.This. I have to admit I always felt rather awkward browsing a forum with two anthropomorphic fox children at the top while at work/school/in public/other.also makes the forum look very nondescript when browsing at work.
*Is bummed that the internet at work has been down since last November*
Re: Demand
Hahaha. Yeah. I always felt awkward when I was at school and people were all, "what the crap are you looking at?" and then I'm all, "Uuuh... it's a forum for a webcomic..." "What's a forum? O.o" "...it's like an online community..." The confused looks on their faces never went away.
I think the fact that Ozy and Millie being on the screen made people wonder.
I'm actually at school right now. So far, no one has asked me what I'm doing. Although, they might eventually since I'm doing all this typing. But maybe they all think I'm still doing my work.
I'm in keyboarding. Stupid school didn't tell me I needed keyboarding until my freakin' SENIOR year. D:<

It could use even more descretion. The rainbow header isn't exactly good for not catching people's eyes.This. I demand my DC come in a plain, brown wrapper!
Scurry, scurry, Scurryous! You might just be the murriest. You certainly are the furriest! Hurry! Scurry! Scurryous!
Re: Demand
I couldn't agree more. Also everyone's furry avatars spur inquisition from onlookers. We need to restrict them to formal self-photography and still life sketches. Also, text in all images, such in Angela's and Javs's "UNDENIABLY FABULOUS" signature, should be in the font Times New Roman in a single, flat colour, and a maximum size of 18pt. Here, I've created an alternative for you:It could use even more descretion. The rainbow header isn't exactly good for not catching people's eyes.This. "well, it's kind of like the old tree-based bulletin board system, except it has been updated to ... you're not paying attention are you?""what the crap are you looking at?" and then I'm all, "Uuuh... it's a forum for a webcomic..." "What's a forum? O.o" "...it's like an online community..." D:<

So is the aim to make the site as generic as possible?

Re: Demand
I think everyone should have identical icons of a generic nondescript humanoid figure and only the member number to distinguish between the icons. And then everyone should type in the same number of words in each post. no exceptions.
