Ozy's got a kicky beret, very stylish. But yeah, Millie's leg is a tad awkward looking somehow.

There's a reason Watterson removed the pads from Hobbes's hands. They were distracting.

Not as distracting as Millie's right leg though.
I couldn't see it before. Now, it's all I can see.

This is a remake of some O&M fanart (I think it was fanart, didn't look like DCS' style) from way back. I had the original as my avatar when I first joined.

I'll go dig it off my other comp.
Laura Howell (The Artist who draws the Vicki Fox Comics) did the original

I have to say, the original fanart is totally better in so many ways. :shock: The style, the detail, proportions, the expressions, and Millie's right leg*!

Related: I am NOT a fan of DCS's new computer-based style. It's just so sloppy-looking. He was so much more talented with the good old pen and paper.

*Edit: Though it does look like DCS put a different, corrected version up on his dA page in which Millie's right leg has ben shortened... It looks a lot better.

I kind of felt bad when I saw that picture posted as his latest, as it shows he's perhaps losing confidence in his own creativity? The pic does however show a better time in O and M history though.

Not only that, laura's version is drawn on PAPER and not digitally.

Same, i never like his style on the computer since it's crude and sloppy and the way he colours things just turns me off.

He was way more talented when he still uses his bristol boards and his trusty pens.
