I agree with Doc's sentiment.

I actually watched The Flying House when I was little and remember it affectionately. Ironically it didn't leave me with a deep belief in Christianity but a long lasting interest in old cultures and ancient civilisations. I'd still like to have a cool time-travelling house though.

I just noticed that there is still a link to Define Cynical on the archives page. That makes me laugh.

Meh, I doubt he cares. He's off with his new comic...Ozy and Millie deserve better.

I'd give them a good home...so much POTENTIAL for stories that weren't done...so many potentially great characters sidelined...

Towards the end, I began to see it as The Simpsons...started as a great ensemble comedy with loads of separate characters and stories...but devolved into "the set" of characters.

I'd prefer it if he'd gone more "Futurama" with it and given some decent supporting characters a chance. I mean, the music teacher was a zebra ffs! There's possabilities for THAT for a start!

Meh, rant over. Still love O+M, but guess I'm just bitter...but then I am a Man City fan.

I think its pretty sad how she just sort of pushed Ozy and Millie aside. Even if updates are rare it doesn't mean she can't keep the site well maintained. I don't see David Willis letting Roomies/Its Walky/Joyce and Walky site fall apart because he's doing Shortpacked. If she really thinks DC is toxic then why couldn't she be bothered to remove it from the other page the link is on. Its just annoying that DS is so lazy that she can't even maintain the site for one of her comics just because its finished.

Also, if I was doing a new comic I wouldn't have just quickly repackaged the old site with a few new colours...it just seems cheap and, yeah, lazy.

I kind of wish Riven worked on newer computers... or that I wasn't too lazy to set up a VM for it.

That game was seriously amazing for it's time. I actually just got the iPod version of it. It's good to play Myst again. :)
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Myst was the bomb, though I couldn't figure out most of it on my own since I was 10 when I first played it. I should go back and try again, I did decently at Uru a couple years ago.

It does. You just need to patch it.

I did. it didn't work. Although, my problem may have been because of my specific hardware, and not all XP users have it. Riven crashed on saving, no matter what method was used. So I really don't care about trying to play it if I can't save and take a break.

They came out with an updated version of Myst called RealMyst, where you can actually wander around freely in actual 3D, and it's designed for modern computers. I wonder, did they ever do the same for Riven?

You said it, It's such a disgrace that David (or Dana) shoved Ozy and Millie aside for Raine Dog.

Ozy & Millie deserves more and it has a really good potential to become more epic compared to Raine dog if only David still continued it instead of shoving it down the drain.

O&M Characters have there own personalities and such while Raine is just a hippy activist with no personality whatsoever.

Raine dog shows what happened to the once great comic artist that draws Ozy and Millie. Honestly, Raine Dog is crap for me and it doesn't have that charm Ozy and Millie gave to me when i first saw it.

For me, David went seriously downhill from his writing skills and story telling.
