I sense a bad feeling about it but I guess I'll just ignore that.

Come on, people have believed in more ridiculous things than that. Like God.

We used to have this garage on the property that the landlord used to store his Chevy Nova and various paint cans etc. This garage was opened MAYBE twice a year. For a time there, I thought there was some sort of creature living in the garage, though I wasn't really sure what. The reason for this was that on a few occasions I had heard what I thought to be strange, animal-like noises coming from within, although I now realize there were any number of things it could have been.

I used to be scared of this garage, and whenever I would go to get in the van which we parked under an overhang attatched to the side of the garage, I would run like hell past the garage door.

There's a non-functioning light switch at the bottom of our cellar stairs. I used to believe that if you flipped this switch, our house would instantly catch on fire and burn to the ground.

When I was about 6 to 8 years old, there was this closet on my way to my bedroom, that I would either walk really quickly past or fairly jog past. I was scared when the door was shut that it would burst open and something would drag me in if I stood near it too long. But yeah, I've gotten over that.

I used to believe the same thing. There was a room in my Grandma's house that was always dark so I didn't want to go near that door. It was close most of the time but when it was open, I just sprinted across it. I used to believe that there was a alien in the room. And not the illegal type either.

I used to believe my dad could build a robot. I'm not sure why I believed this since he never claimed he could make a robot. I asked him to build me one, and he made a fairly elaborate robot toy out of wood, but I was dissapointed since it didn't move by itself and talk. I later learned theres more to making robots then wood and buckets with faces drawn on them.

I used to believe Bow-Tie Bear could come to life and be the perfect best friend for me.

He never did.
