The Landing Strip is still due for changes. Because of FoxChild's recent promotion to true moderator status, I need to update the post to reflect that.<br><br>While I am on the subject, I was also thinking of adding information about viewing older topics to the post, but thought I'd ask around to find out what other useful tools I could bring up as well, like more stuff on avatars, posting tricks, what to do when the site is down, or more of what to expect on the community's side of things.

would an advanced section be fitting, like explaining the code a bit, such as the <!--QuoteBegin-"ability to personalize quotes"+--> <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' ><tr><td class='quotetop'><b>Quote:</b> ("ability to personalize quotes")</td></tr><tr><td class='quotebody'> like in the very top part of this quote<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd-->, and i'm too tired to look right now, but setting up poles, is that in there?

Not yet, but information about polls and custom quotes might be nice.

Think there might be room for tutorial stuff, like using the posting tools and maybe advanced stuff like making customized quotes? Should I also add a link to the store?<br><br>Suggestions, please!

Hmm... a link to the store would better be on the links page... but it wouldn't hurt. <br><br>*dashes off to create a Poster/Shirt/SOMETHING for the store involving the thingy thread and just general DC members!*

You should just make the Landing Strip about me. I'm so awesome.

That does make sense.. well, To be honest, I don't have that information either; it's ultimately up to 5hfifty to tell us what file types are allowed. What does everyone think the list of valid file types <i>should</i> be?<br><br>As for avatars, I believe the list of valid file types for avatars is listed there. I see no reason not to believe that for now that list names the same types as the one used for attachments (since most attachments are images anyway)

basically the same as <a href='http://charas-project.net/forum/index.php' target='_blank'>http://charas-project.net/forum/index.php</a> only i think they took down all the un allowed file types...
