Oboy, I love this kind of puzzle! But I generally need a large grid to solve them.

(I just thought I'd point out that this isn't really a riddle, but a full out puzzle.)

I am using a simular method but what I did is I drew 5 houses and on the top I drew arrows that give possibilties and on the bottom all the cold hard facts. I'm close to solving it though! I must point out that Einstein said that only 2% of the people who try to solve this actually solve it.

(The answer to mine was a frog in a blender. x3)
That puzzle needs a lot of knowledge of animals and people of different nationalities... this'll take a while.

You're on the right track, but that's the easy bit.

The solution follows, in really tiny text:

The German who smokes Prince, drinks coffee and lives in the green house keeps fish.
If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5, NIV)

Correct! I have the same answer. I'll keep this riddle alive for a few more post to see if anyone else has the same answer.

I must point out that Einstein said that only 2% of the people who try to solve this actually solve it.
In that case, either you and nick are wrong (which I doubt) or Einstein was wrong about the difficulty.

That, or 98% of people can't be bothered to go and get a piece of paper and work it out. It takes about ten minutes if you find a good method fairly quickly.

yeah it really wasn't that hard. All you had to do was to find a method that organizes all the information given. From there you could go on to slove it. I personally went through about three types of methods until I came up to the fourth one which helped me solve it. That's why it took me so long. I don't think that either me or nick are wrong because I looked it over and the clues fit.

I guess that I should reveil the answer to Einstein's riddle. It's the German(ironically) who lives in the Green house, who drinks coffee and smokes prince and owns a fish. That's the answer that Nick and I got.
