There may be a rise in unemployment, but I managed to snag a job FINALLY! I am the proud owner of a (silly looking) uniform.

My dad will always have a job. He's a plumber. But he could also do carpentry, electric, tile, and he could bake; that's the best part. He is now working at SAC (San Antonio College you perves) as maitainace.

Also good for you Lewis! I know it is hard times now adays.

I wouldn't say I'm lucky to work for Burger King, but thanks! (I am lucky to have found a job!)Considering how much I LOVE Burger King, in a few weeks I just might HATE the burgers! (Well, ok maybe not hate...)

Once upon a time I actually had a good set of cordless power tools for carpentry (DeWalt), but finances basically demanded I pawn them. I had every intention of getting them back, but my finances never got better, so they were resold. (DAMN!)

actually, you probably WILL hate them after working there for a while. Fast food joints tend to do that to you.

I work in a grocery store, and have for over 3 years now, so my security, part time though I may be, is pretty secure. granted, we're always hiring anyway because so many kids in school don't like the job. I stuck with it and am moving up in position, so yeah. good for my switching to a business major next year, because I'll have experience!

Well, day one was exciting...
...Three videos watched: One about health and safety, one about dealing with customers, and another about the franchise itself. Can I get a 'yee-haw'? No? Good, because it really wasn't THAT good!
Then I got to flip a few fries into the oil! WOW, talk about exciting! **gag** (What do I really care? It is, after all, MONEY! Cha-Ching!)

(BTW, fish sandwiches aren't my thing. Not that I don't like fish (I do) but I just don't like fast-food fish sandwiches.)
