As to why I'm not sure as to how so it gives off gamma rays and thus radiation of soem sort. I've taken a giger counter in there in parts of it are just sligtly radioacctive. Not enough for me to worry. I worry abotu a lot less then I should.

So? If you have a smoke detector, you have radioactivity going on nearby (in trace amounts, of course).<br><br>::inagines everyone trying to take apart their smoke detectors to find the radioactive Americium bits:: Don't bother, it's useless.

It apears to be much younger then the potehr too. I hope it grows into the level of the other too. There are quite a few goood things on it: just a few though.
