In the first two sentences of Tai's riddle, the words' initials spell "DEFINE CYNICAL."

I think that's close enough to a solution. So...

What do you use to sweep the floor and open corked bottles?

you said a CORKED bottle, not a capped bottle. You can either use a corkscrew, or suction.

Good riddle tom. And you said you made that one by yourself? Maybe I should tell a riddle I made myself.

There is a Spanish pimp who could only speak spanish and a prostitute who can't understand spanish. They are stranded in the middle of an ocean and they need to get to civilization. What does the pimp say to the prostitute in order for her to start rowing.
