Water's nto necerarly fire retardant. If its a petro firew water actuly makes it spread out more. I think it's because the petro floats on the watter. Also fire retarted liquids do exist and are much more efective then watter.<br><br><a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/2002/om20020827.html' target='_blank'>LOOK OVER THERE!</a>
