At school Sunday I was waiting for my 3D renders to finish rendering. Since the PC I was using in Montgomery Hall was a rather weak single core AMD PC, render times were kinda slow so I came up with an idea to draw something. The new Indiana Jones movie is coming soon, and I couldn't help myself.

Noooo Millie! Its a trap set by momma!

"Wait... whats this!? A hand drawn picture from Donnie!? But I thought you were all tablet now?"

Indeed... I found it a bit troublesome for me to get back to hand inking since there IS no undo after all :P. But I can't just forget the good stuff. Hand drawn and hand inked. Enhanced in photoshop and Live Traced in Illustrator for smooth lines.

I love your style, as always.

But what's that cord coming out of the bottom of the table?

I assume the cord is part of the trap, whatever that may be.

Donnie, I'm ever so glad you opted against giving Millie an Angelina Jolie or Lara Croft-like figure.

Never crossed my mind  . That I swear.

You can say the trap is identical from the one in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but maybe with a Llewellyn fireball instead of a ball of rock. I wasn't sure so think whatever you wish.

Funny. When I saw that image I thought it would be Lewellyin curled into a ball rolling at her. Dunno why :O

Also, Donnie and Dantheman might get this one

I'd like to see it without the LiveTrace? You just do it all the time, and the effect is kind of...odd...

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

Oh... hmmm. I'll have to reread.

EDIT:

Here is the 98% unmodified version. All I did was remove as much gray as possible by editing the Levels in photoshop. Some of the black splotches are probably material that came from my degrading bag. Its flaking and falling apart.

You made a short story. I wouldn't mind reading it. Oh and very nice work as always Donnie. I'm waiting for Llewellyn curled into a ball to now descend upon her.
