Yes.

Can anyone tell me if it is actually any good, or if it was just cobbled together to make some fast money from the film license?

From what I've seen and heard, the game is spectacular.

Oh god. Yes. I haven't got it yet but I won it off ebay yesterday. Man. It looks awesome.

http://pirates.bethsoft.com/images/gall ...
http://pirates.bethsoft.com/images/gall ...
http://pirates.bethsoft.com/images/gall ...
http://pirates.bethsoft.com/images/gall ...

Of course, there is a huge on-land game, but it's the sailing I want.

The movie name was tacked on because of the similar release dates. The game has nothing to do with the movie except you get to fight the black pearl. Which is good. I hate games I already know the story of, and I avoid movie games. Plus this lets it be a do-whatever-you-want game.

Well, it's out now, and it's on PC and Xbox. I'm getting it for Xbox, seeing as my PC is slower than a one legged cat. That's dead.

I won a copy on an auction on Ebay yesterday. I sincerely hope it gets here before the holidays are over. It's not an arcade pick-up-and-play game.

There's a music school that I attend every now and then up in Wilmington and right next door is a firm with a sign that says "Llewelyn & Co." or something like that. It's misspelled, but it's close enough. If I'm ever up there again, I'll try to remember to bring a camera and get a pic to show.

The syndicated comic, Mutts (which i think is the best syndicated newspaper strip at the moment) because two of the main characters are called Ozzie and Millie spelled like that). In fact everytime i read either comic, the other comes to mind if those two name are brought up.
