Would it help if Mu Nan was called "DNA Contributor"? "Sire"? "Biological Progenitor"? "Source of Ozy's Y Chromosome"?

Huh. I sorta assumed DCS wouldn't make it as obvious as that, but maybe I just know the characters too well now :wag:

I guess that for an adoptee, knowing about one's bio-parents is kinda like knowing about one's ancestors. You're not apt to form a social relationship with them, but the knowledge helps you learn more about yourself.

I'm still wondering if Mu-Nan knew he was talking to his bio-son when he said, "Yes, son?" He might just be kooky enough to reveal himself in such an offhand way.

Maybe, but wise people often call other people "my son" (priests, for example), so he may not have known.

newfies call anyone younger than themselves that, when the situation warrants it.

Either you are getting to know these characters too well, or DCS is loosing his touch.

I think this particular comic (and whatever else may follow) coulda made for a very good story... it just seemed like a good opportunity.

And my theory is that Ms Mudd's name is one of the Eight Spells of the Octavo which would destroy the world/turtle if ever uttered without its companions.
Then excuse me while I find someone to put the Seal of Eightfold Stasis on her...

Your words bewilder me.

Yeah. I liked it, but it was too short and the ending was a little easy. But then, it might not be over so I'll reserve judgement until that day should it arise in the time of yore and fairies yes I am stoned why you ask?

:offtopic: Is it just me.
Or is the LAST major Ozy and Millie mystery. That of Mrs. Mudds first name.
Here we go again:

Mehitabel Mudd, mother of Millie.
That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it.
Apparently she has another M to her name and Mehitabel is her middle name.

I know! Her name is really M, and she's part of the British Secret Service!
Furries? Are they the nutters that pretend to be animals and draw humans that look like animals? Christ, I sink my head into my paws... -Rooster

No, M is a codename. Bond ALMOST revealed her real name in Casino Royale.
