Ozy and Millie Radio Project

Postby Author_Joshua » Wed Nov 28, 2007 6:50 pm

Inspired by similar radio projects, I would like to create a radio drama-like project based off of Ozy and Millie.

I was attempting to create a project like this at school, but nobody would agree to be a voice-actor/actress.

I really need a Millie and Ms. Mudd like... NOW! If anybody knows how to do such things like this, I would love it if you would help me! I would also like to replace myself as Ozy.

If you want details, please reply to this message, and I'll post them as time passes.

g'day.

PS: I still play Llewellyn... NOBODY (except the author) can take that away from me!

You and me both.

I know someone who might, with a little pitch editing à la Sarah Vowell's monologue, pass for a decent Millie, but I hardly ever see her anymore, much less could get her into the recording booth.

Cool idea, sorry I can't help. Good luck with this project.

I'd like to help, but probaly can't. If I ever get a microphone, and you need a generic voice, just ask. But until then, hope you find the right voices.

I have no idea if I could or not, because I don't know if I'd have a voice suited to anything in general. I might, but I'm busy with school, work and christmas looming over me.

I have a headset, but if I were to do this, I would probably buy an MXL recording set (one vocal condenser and an interface with software, which is like, $100 and thus, cheap) so that it would sound better.

not that I don't want to buy one of those anyway, I just don't have the need for one yet :P

I just need a mic and Audacity and I have a decent recording set. But my voice is ill suited to anything other than extras.

Attention, mods! Please to be merging this with http://www.definecynical.net/viewtopic.php?t=5774 somehow.

Personally I'd prefer to see the merged thread wind up in the "Ozy and Millie" forum, since anything here tends to get lost in the crowd.
