Did you mean Eric Clapton? Clapton does the solo on the album, although if there is an alternate version with Harrison I would want to know where to hear it.
I think you can find it on one of the Anthology albums, he did a demo where he played it solo on an acoustic guitar.

I used to like them a lot. I collected a lot of stuff relating to them when George died.

However, since that was about 6 years ago, my interest in them started to fade. The last time i cared about them was when Paul turned 64.

Also, you'd better hope Ibun doesn't see this thread. We all know how much he hates them.

I think my parents might have some of those anthology albums. I will definitly have to check it out now. While My Guitar Gently Weeps is one of my favorite songs.

Im trying to find that song they made that had pretty similar music in it, and same tempo as it. Im pretty sure they mixed some of it at the beginning of Within You Without You in that Love cd. A few lines at least, "Turn off your minds, relax and float downstream...". Im sure I've heard the original somewhere D:
The song with those lyrics is Tomorrow Never Knows, the final song on Revolver.

Sorry to float, but didn't want to make my own thread and get flamed

The thought came across my mind as I noticed in O&M: what animals would The Beatles be? I remember in the 2003 Lennon tribute that DCS inserted real pictures of John, but I've never seen a Simpson-renditioned Beatle included within the strip.

Just something to ponder :P

As for what I think...

John - Strangley enough, a dragon... go figure...

Paul - A monkey! No, not because of the song, but like John, it works for me.

George - A turtle, since I always picture him with a bored, sluggish visage.

Ringo - One of those sheepdogs with the long fur that covers their eyes, ha ha.

I grew up listening to Beatle Brunch on the way back from church.

Also I could see Paul as a walrus for some reason with a black head of hair though. :p Lennon in my mind is a monkey, Geore would be a turtle or frog as you said, ringo an old english sheep dog.

They bore the bejeezus out of me. Someone said earlier that you have to take your hat off to the massive influence they had on pop music that followed and yes, they changed the face of the music industry entirely.

However, I've tried and tried and tried and tried and I find their music drudgerous and slothful, filled with asinine lyrics, hookless choruses and extremely reedy, nasal harmony singing.

Furthermore, the Cult of Lennon drives me bonkers. It may be more prevalent over here, but Beatles are treated like national treatures, Lennon in particular. Lennon was a belligerent, rude man and all of his posturing and rhetoric shouldn't be allowed to cover that up.

No, whilst The Beatles were an extremely important band, I find them bankrupt of merit in themselves.

Given how nearly identical they used to look, I wouldn't expect their counterparts to be such different species.

In some other anthro worlds, they've been beetles. But O&M appears not to have anthro insects.

See, this is the kind of thing I wish I could say; but I would just end up screwing it up and offending EVERYONE.

Ibun you have just offended me. Just now. I'm going to write a letter to my senator about it.

The Beatles....they pretty good but not a favorite I would say. There are a couple of their songs I really liked including Yesterday. I give em about a five or six.
